Redundant/Duplicate Publications
Author Contribution
The Davao Research Journal (DRJ) requires all submitted manuscripts to follow the CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) framework to ensure transparency, accountability, and proper recognition of each author’s contribution to the research and manuscript preparation.
Authors are required to specify their individual contributions during the manuscript submission process under the section “Author Contributions.” The use of CRediT author statements helps promote ethical authorship practices, minimize honorary or courtesy authorship, and reduce potential authorship disputes.
Authors should only be listed if they have made substantial intellectual contributions to the work. All listed authors are expected to have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript before submission.
The journal recognizes, but is not limited to, the following CRediT contributor roles:
Conceptualization
Methodology
Software
Validation
Formal Analysis
Investigation
Resources
Data Curation
Writing – Original Draft Preparation
Writing – Review & Editing
Visualization
Supervision
