Davao Oriental State University (DORSU) proudly celebrates a major milestone after being recognized as one of the Top Contributors to the SERP-P national research database for 2025. A key highlight of this recognition is the outstanding performance of the Davao Research Journal (DRJ), which was awarded as one of the Top 10 Most Active Journals among 73 SERP-P network partners showcasing its growing role in advancing scholarly visibility and national research dissemination.
The awards were conferred during the 25th SERP-P Anniversary and Annual Network Meeting held on December 2–3 at Sequoia Hotel Manila Bay, Parañaque City, and awarded by Dr. Philip Arnold P. Tuaño of the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS), recently ranked 37th globally in social policy research.
The exceptional work of the Davao Research Journal managing editors Ms. Ivy M. Nallos and Ms. Hanelen T. Pislan, together with Editor-in-Chief Dr. Edison D. Macusi played a pivotal role in achieving this award. Their strong leadership, editorial expertise, and dedication to high-quality academic publishing significantly boosted the journal’s performance and national presence.
